the boBLOG is back in business
After 5 years, I’ve given up on Blogger as the host of boBLOG. I just simply couldn’t get any new entries to post. Not sure why, but I’m tired of wasting my time trying when there are other alternatives, such as WordPress.
So… onward and upward.

Over the last 6 months I tried replying to your blogs several times with no success. Considering my computer savvy I am not sure who was to blame for my failures. So, anyway, glad you’ve changed so I can get through to you.
I’m about your age and just retired at the end of ‘07. I was particularly interested in your libertarian views and your blogs on smoking. Like you, I now make my own cigarettes due to the ridiculous increases in costs. Like you, I am amazed at the hysteria that attaches itself to this topic. I was trying to get through to you because I thought you might be interested in some of my “wisdom” on this topic. You can check my WordPress blog, the cultural contrarian. To Gimper30: Until I moved this blog, I didn’t WANT public comments, and didn’t enable them. It was possible to email me privately. Now I’ve decided that I can handle some feedback. Of course, I can always NOT approve a specific comment My libertarian views are better represented by my No Force, No Fraud blog, at http://www.noforce.org but comments are not enabled there.
My views on smoking generate some vicious replies from people who just buy into all of the scare tactics from anti-smokers. One (adult) male accused me of premeditated murder, by secondhand smoke. I’m not going to give those replies any of MY space.
